Summary of this Weeks Training
Monday - Working on the receiving position, Speed at the hips and strength in the turnover, so lots of work to be done here.
Tuesday - Working on fitness and strength in the turnover. Really want to keep that bar close to make this session comfortable.
Wednesday - Working on comfort in the split stance and being able to absorb the weight. Also working on acceleration into to turnover phases in both the clean and the jerk. Finishing with some good arm strength and conditioning.
Thursday - Working on hitting our shapes hard and getting comfortable under the bar with a bit of weight on there.
Friday - Working on comfort in the squat and end of the pull before working on consistency on the lifts, looking for no failures here.
Saturday - Play day, to warm-up though getting ready for a heavy clean and getting prepared to heave that bar off the shoulders in the jerk phase. If it feels good put some weight on the bar.
