October 26th Week Overview
We start the week with Snatch Curls (standing) working the strength of the turnover. We then move to snatch from hips in squat stance working on the same thing, just a little more dynamically. Here we are hitting a decent weight for reps. This should be challenging. Then we hit the posterior chain with some good mornings, heavy if the form permits. Then a great challenge of max reps at 50% of PB Clean.
We start with a great complex of power clean, front squat & jerk. Here we are working on speed through the hips and a pre-fatigue before the jerk. Then we condition the lockout with push press. We then have clean pulls to mid thigh to work on strength and positions off the floor. Finishing with some heavy helicopters.
Clean from hips and push jerk, working on strength the hips and confidence under the bar in the jerk phase. Then we have muscular clean; Here we have some fitness and bar path. Then we have some heavy pause squat, working on confidence in the bottom of the squat, hold for a 3 count.
We start with overhead squat working on confidence in the overhead position. Then we work on posture with snatch from mid shin. To finish we have ab work.
We use the Complex of Week to warm-up and work on our movements. We then work on triples, work on fitness and consistency. We then have a fun challenge of max reps at 90% of PB Clean.
We prime our movements with Roll under and clean pull clean and push press, in preparation for a heavy clean & jerk.
